Here is a question I firmly believe should be considered: How can we truly please God in our lives and as a nation? We are confronted with numerous uncertainties and inquiries as we progress through the current year. This moment presents an opportunity for us to take meaningful and decisive actions that align with what is considered pleasing to God and His plans for ourselves and our nation. First, it is essential to engage in an honest reflection on the following critical questions: Have we adhered to His will on both individual and national levels? Are we assured that our actions genuinely represent His divine plan, as opposed to merely reflecting human desires? While I may not possess all the answers, I am confident that God remains perpetually present, scrutinizing our actions and intentions. He is aware of every detail, every choice, and every moment that has influenced our progress as a nation. As we engage with these important questions, let's focus on our shared identity and collective responsibility as a nation united by a common destiny that extends beyond our concerns. It’s important to recognize that each of us is a vital part of this ongoing narrative. Our interconnectedness means that our actions can significantly influence the future we create for the next generation. Let’s seize this opportunity to embrace our responsibilities and make choices that will not only uplift our nation but also honor God. Together, we can work toward a brighter future. We often cherish our freedom of religion and the idea of being one nation under God. We express our devotion through uplifting rhetoric and align ourselves with values we hold dear, such as "one nation under God" and "In God we trust." While this is commendable, it's time to confront these uncomfortable truth: though we profess our love for God, do we genuinely love Him?
Do we desire to know His Will or His mind for us? Are we committed to righteousness? Are we humble? Are we praying for the land and for our leadership? as required by the Scriptures. Are we praying the Will of God? I am happy to share here that I belong to a movement called Park the politics for an hour - prayer for the nation, that seek people from all walks of life to set aside an hour on S

aturdays to seek God on behalf of this nation. We frequently seek to impose our individual desires and preferences on God, but as mere mortals it is time to seek and acknowledge His Will, His purposes and way for us. To move forward effectively, we need to unite in the way that honors not just our aspirations but also reflects a deep understanding of God. Acknowledging and seeking Godly wisdom, the wisdom beyond our immediate perspectives, is the surest way, if you are in any leadership position seek God’s wisdom so together we can create a future that resonates with the principles of faith, justice, and unity. It is only by doing so, that we stand a better chance of genuinely pleasing God and fulfilling the higher purpose to which we are all called, individually and as a nation. I leave these thoughts with you: “And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us,....Acts 17 26:27
